GDPR Article 17 erasure queue
What this is
A queue of right-to-erasure (right-to-be-forgotten) requests for this tenant. Each request is planned across every person-keyed canonical entity, executed as a soft delete with erasedAt / erasedBy tombstones, and closed with a redacted certificate that carries only a SHA-256 hash of the subject identifier — safe to hand to the data subject or the supervisory authority.
How to use
- 1.Record the request with the subject's studentId, HUSID or personId — the statutory 28-day clock (Article 12(3)) starts immediately.
- 2.Review the plan: every canonical entity holding a person-keyed reference is included automatically, plus source-pushed contact entities.
- 3.Execute the erasure — each affected row is tombstoned and an erasure.complete event lands in the immutable audit log.
- 4.Open the completed request to view the certificate — the tamper-evident proof of erasure for the data subject and the ICO.
